The Shenendehowa Educational Foundation, a volunteer not-for-profit organization, supports the mission of the Shenendehowa Central School District by raising and distributing funds for educational enrichment beyond the reach of the basic operational needs of the District.
The Shenendehowa Educational Foundation is encouraging grant submissions to support our students since the Foundation will be starting the first round of grant application reviews in early Fall. If you have any questions please email us.

The primary purpose of the “Hall of Distinguished Alumni” is to recognize distinguished alumni of the Shenendehowa Central School District who can serve as role models for today’s students, demonstrating the importance of school and the power of learning.
Beginning in 2013, and continuing each year thereafter, a small group (3-5) of Shenendehowa alumni will be selected for induction into the “Hall of Distinguished Alumni.” The Shenendehowa Educational Foundation is the sponsor of this special recognition program.
To be eligible, a Shenendehowa graduate must have been out of school at least 10 years (or is deceased) and has made significant and noteworthy contributions in their career, to their community or other humanitarian endeavors.
The Shenendehowa Educational Foundation is accepting nominations of distinguished alumni to be inducted into this special Hall. Anyone in the Shenendehowa community can nominate an eligible individual for this honor.
Nominating forms are available on line www.shenedfoundation.org or can be picked up at the Shenendehowa District Offices located at 5 Chelsea Place, Clifton Park, NY. The annual deadline to nominate a graduate for induction in the spring of each year is February 1st.
